Built in Brampton for the people who run events

Why it exists

A banquet hall event manager might run eight bookings a month. Each one has a budget in a spreadsheet, vendor quotes in email, RSVPs in a WhatsApp group, a seating chart drawn by hand and a run of show in a document. None of those talk to each other, so the same guest count gets typed five times and the real budget appears only when the invoices do.

Event Studio puts all of that on one record per event. The guest list, the budget, the vendor contracts, the seating and the schedule read from the same place, so a change in one shows up in the others.

Who builds it

Event Studio is built by Harmeet Singh, a software developer based in Brampton, Ontario. The product is shaped directly by the planners and venue managers using it, which is why the pilot includes a direct line to the founder.

Where it runs

The software is web-based and hosted on Amazon Web Services, with nightly backups. Each organisation's data is kept separate.
